Grand Theft Auto VI has two playable protagonists — Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, a romantic criminal duo at the center of a story that runs across the state of Leonida — ahead of the game’s November 19, 2026 release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Alongside them, Rockstar’s May 2025 site update published official profiles for six more named characters. This page collects all eight officially profiled characters, summarizes each from Rockstar’s own bio wording, links every one to its database record, and stays explicit about what is not confirmed — starting with the voice cast, which Rockstar has not announced at all. No leaks.

Where a bio’s wording is load-bearing below, we say so; Wikipedia confirms the May 2025 site update shipped roughly 70 screenshots plus character and location descriptions alongside Trailer 2, and outlets reproduced the profiles. The release date and platforms are cited to Take-Two’s investor release, which verifies live.

The two playable protagonists

Jason Duval

Per his official profile, Jason grew up around grifters and crooks. After a stint in the Army — an attempt to shake off a troubled youth — he ended up in the Leonida Keys working for local drug runners, doing what he knows best. Database entry →

Lucia Caminos

Lucia’s profile centers on family. Fighting for her family is what landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary, and, as the bio puts it, sheer luck got her out; Wikipedia’s summary adds that she was imprisoned after fighting for her family, with roots in Liberty City. The two are framed as a Bonnie-and-Clyde-style pair: an easy score goes wrong and pulls them into a criminal conspiracy that stretches across Leonida, forcing them to work together to survive. PC Gamer and other outlets corroborate that setup from the site’s profiles.

Cal Hampton

Jason’s friend and a fellow associate of Brian Heder’s. His profile paints a homebody who feels safest at home — snooping on Coast Guard radio chatter with a few beers. Database entry →

A Vice City legend, and one of the few to turn time on the streets into a legitimate empire spanning real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio. Bae-Luxe and Roxy — friends since high school — are a rap duo who turned shaking down local dealers into cash through rap tracks and a relentless social-media presence. An early hit single with local rapper DWNPLY raised their profile, and after about five years they are signed to Only Raw Records. Database entry →

What each trailer showed

Trailer 1 (December 4, 2023) revealed the title, the two protagonists, the Vice City / Leonida setting, and an initial release window. (A dating footnote: Rockstar put Trailer 1 out on December 4 after it leaked early — a day ahead of its scheduled December 5 premiere — so you will see both dates cited.)

Trailer 2 (May 6, 2025) revealed the protagonists’ full names — Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos — and landed alongside the website update that published the character profiles summarized above.

As of July 18, 2026, there is no official Trailer 3; for the state of that rumor, see our Trailer 3 rumor watch. Fake “Trailer 3” uploads circulate periodically — the tell is always that the uploader is not @RockstarGames.

Voice cast: unconfirmed (rumor only)

Rockstar has officially confirmed no voice actors for GTA VI. Everything circulating about the cast is unverified. The most-circulated fan pick for Jason is Cole Hauser, but nothing about him is confirmed. Outlets such as NME have catalogued the wider rumor mill — Manni L. Perez for Lucia, and Gregory Connors, Jake Silbermann or Dylan Rourke for Jason — and documented denials from named actors, including Troy Baker and Roger Craig Smith. All of it is fan speculation and unconfirmed reporting, some of it tracing to casting chatter and actor résumés. Some fan sites go further and assert an “official” confirmation, especially for Manni L. Perez, but that traces to no verifiable Rockstar or Take-Two source.

Rockstar’s long-standing pattern is to reveal the full cast only in the launch-day credits, and launch — November 19, 2026 — has not happened as of this writing. Until Rockstar says otherwise, treat every casting name as a rumor, never a fact.

What is and isn’t confirmed

To keep the two kinds of claims apart:

Confirmed (official). The two protagonists, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos; the six supporting characters above, each with an official website profile; and the November 19, 2026 release date on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Not confirmed — do not assume:

• No voice cast has been announced. Any actor name is a rumor (see above).
• No official Trailer 3 exists, and Rockstar has announced no timing for one.
• No official total character count. Third-party trackers and aggregator tallies that cite bigger numbers — figures like 10 or 26+ — fold in names read off trailer signage, minor cameos, and leak-sourced entries, not official profiles (we don’t link leak-aggregating trackers). This page is scoped to the characters Rockstar has actually profiled.
• A couple of other figures appear in Rockstar’s official material (including the story’s antagonist framing) without the standalone profiles the eight above have; we will add them when Rockstar details them.

When Rockstar names a voice actor, profiles a new character, or releases Trailer 3, this page and the database update the same day — with sources attached.
